Business advisory Bangkok

The Ruangrit Difference

What working with us
actually looks like.

We believe advisory should serve the client's interests, not demonstrate the advisor's cleverness. Here is what that looks like in practice.

Core Strengths

Six things clients value most about us

Deep Bangkok Expertise

14 years working inside Bangkok's business community. We understand how decisions actually get made here.

Structured Engagements

Clear scope, defined deliverables, and agreed timelines before any work begins. No ambiguity.

Strict Confidentiality

Mutual NDA as standard. Your business information stays with us and is never referenced elsewhere.

Senior Advisors Only

You work directly with experienced advisors throughout. No handover to junior staff after onboarding.

Practical Deliverables

Written in plain language. Designed to be used by your team, not stored as reference documents.

Fixed-Scope Pricing

All fees agreed upfront. No hourly billing, no scope creep, no surprise additions to the invoice.

In More Depth

Expertise that comes from being here

Fourteen years in Bangkok means we have seen the patterns that repeat โ€” the organisational dynamics, the family business pressures, the challenges foreign founders encounter, and the ways that well-intentioned decisions go sideways without local context.

Our advisors bring sector depth across professional services, trading, hospitality, and light manufacturing โ€” the industries where most of our clients operate. Engagements are conducted in English, and advisory in Thai is available where that serves the client.

Sector knowledge across key Bangkok industries
Bilingual advisory capacity (English and Thai)
14 years of Bangkok commercial experience
Understanding of Thai family business dynamics
ASEAN-aware perspective on regional market context
Written scope agreed before engagement begins
Defined deliverables with clear acceptance criteria
Scheduled progress check-ins throughout
Structured handover at engagement close
Post-engagement review to confirm objectives met

A methodology that stays within scope

Advisory engagements tend to expand. Advisors add recommendations, clients ask additional questions, and before long the original scope has doubled in complexity. We work deliberately to prevent this.

Every engagement begins with a written scope document. If additional work is needed outside that scope, we discuss it openly and agree a separate arrangement. You always know what you are getting and what it will cost.

Tools built around the engagement, not the other way around

We use structured frameworks for stakeholder analysis, sentiment mapping, brand equity assessment, and transition planning โ€” adapted to each engagement rather than applied rigidly. Our frameworks are drawn from international organisational consulting practice, adapted to the Thai business context.

Deliverables are provided in formats your team can work with: written documents, working spreadsheets, and presentation materials in standard formats. No proprietary software required on your side.

Stakeholder sentiment mapping framework
Brand equity and identity assessment tools
Transition planning and communications templates
Deliverables in standard, editable formats
No proprietary platform dependency
Direct access to senior advisors throughout
Introductory conversation before any commitment
Response to enquiries within one business day
In-person or remote sessions to suit your schedule
Mutual confidentiality agreement as standard

The kind of service that feels straightforward

Clients tell us that working with Ruangrit feels different from their experience with larger consulting firms. There is no account management layer. The person you speak to at the beginning is the person leading your engagement.

We are reachable, we communicate clearly, and we do not inflate the complexity of what we are doing. If something is not going as expected, we raise it promptly rather than waiting for a formal review.

Outcomes you can point to

We are outcome-focused in a specific sense: we define what a good outcome looks like at the start of each engagement, and we hold ourselves to that definition. Not a subjective sense of value, but concrete deliverables and organisational decisions made.

Clients leave engagements with written materials, agreed decisions, and a clear sense of what happens next. The quality of those materials โ€” and whether they actually get used โ€” is how we measure whether we've done our job.

Outcomes defined before engagement starts
Written deliverables at engagement close
Post-engagement review measuring against stated objectives
Follow-on availability for legacy clients (renewal programme)
Repeat engagement rate above 60% across our client base

What Sets Us Apart

Distinctive aspects of how we work

An introductory conversation before any commitment

We do not take on engagements without a preliminary conversation. This allows both parties to assess the fit before any agreement is made โ€” and means we are only working with clients whose situations we understand.

Bilingual advisory capacity in Bangkok

All engagements are conducted in English. Where internal stakeholders or documentation require Thai, our advisors can work in both languages โ€” a practical advantage in mixed-language organisations.

Deep familiarity with family-owned enterprise

A significant portion of Bangkok's business landscape is family-owned. We understand the dynamics that make these organisations distinctive โ€” and the specific sensitivities involved in advising on leadership succession and renewal.

Deliverables that outlast the engagement

We write our materials to be used beyond the period of our involvement. Playbooks, strategy documents, and communication materials are structured so that your team can continue working from them independently.
