About Ruangrit
An advisory practice built around patience and precision.
We have been working alongside Bangkok's business community since 2010, helping organisations find clarity at moments that call for careful thinking.
โ Back to HomeOur Story
Fourteen years of considered work in Bangkok.
Ruangrit was founded in 2010 by a small group of advisors who had each spent over a decade working inside Thai and international organisations. They shared a particular concern: that most consulting was too prescriptive, too fast, and too detached from the realities of the people doing the work.
The name Ruangrit โ meaning brightness โ reflects the founding intention. We are not here to overhaul what already works. We are here to help organisations see their situation more clearly and move forward in a direction they can genuinely commit to.
Over the years, we have worked with early-stage founders, mid-sized Thai enterprises navigating leadership transitions, and multigenerational family businesses rethinking their place in a changing market. The work is detailed, thoughtful, and always shaped around the client's specific circumstances.
Our Mission
To provide business leaders and organisations with advisory that is honest, well-structured, and respectful of the complexity they are actually dealing with โ without pressure, and without unnecessary urgency.
Our Approach
We begin by listening โ carefully and without assumptions. Each engagement is scoped to the situation at hand, not to a pre-existing template. Deliverables are written in plain language and designed to be used, not filed away.
Our Values
Transparency in how we work. Discretion with everything we learn. Respect for the client's timeline and pace. A preference for clear reasoning over confident-sounding shortcuts. And a genuine commitment to the outcome โ not just the engagement.
The People

Standards & Practice
How we hold ourselves accountable
Confidentiality as Standard
All engagements are covered by mutual confidentiality agreements. Client information is never shared externally or used as reference material in other engagements.
Clear Written Scope
Every engagement begins with a written scope document agreed by both parties. Deliverables, timelines, and fees are defined before work commences โ no ambiguity, no surprise additions.
Thai Legal Compliance
Our practice operates in full compliance with Thai business law and professional advisory standards. All engagement agreements are governed under Thai jurisdiction.
Structured Communication
Clients receive scheduled progress communications throughout each engagement โ written updates, working documents, and review sessions at agreed intervals.
Ongoing Professional Development
Our advisors maintain active engagement with industry scholarship, sector research, and professional networks across the ASEAN business community.
Post-Engagement Review
After every engagement, we conduct a structured review with the client to assess whether objectives were met and gather feedback that genuinely informs how we work going forward.
Expertise in Context
Business advisory shaped by Bangkok's unique commercial landscape
Bangkok operates at the intersection of several distinct business cultures โ Thai family enterprise traditions, regional ASEAN commerce, and international corporate practice. Advisory work here requires an understanding of each, and the judgement to know which norms apply in any given situation.
Ruangrit has spent fourteen years building deep familiarity with this environment. We understand how decisions get made inside Thai organisations, how stakeholder relationships function across generational lines, and what foreign founders often misread about building a business in this market.
Our startup structuring work draws on direct experience with Thai entity formation, early-stage team dynamics, and the practical challenges of positioning a new business for the Bangkok market. Our change navigation engagements reflect an understanding of how Thai organisational culture shapes โ and sometimes constrains โ the pace of transition. And our legacy renewal work is grounded in respect for the heritage value that family enterprises carry, alongside a clear-eyed view of what modernisation actually requires.
Clients who work with Ruangrit come for thoughtful advisory and stay because the work is honest, well-structured, and serves their actual situation โ not a generalised template.
